Mumbai, Ankit Gupta has definitely been one of the hidden gems of the sixteenth season of “Bigg Boss”. Not only has he charmed the audience with his witty one-liners, but has also smashed other contestants by calling them out for their hypocrite behaviour. And we saw a glimpse of it in Tuesday’s episode.
A task was organised where Bigg Boss had asked the contestants to stand in a box and if they get three or more buzzers they will be nominated for the week.
When it was Nimrit Kay Ahluwalia’s turn to stand in the well, Ankit pressed the buzzer and said that she did injustice to Sajid Khan by not letting him participate. Nimrit interrupted him while he was giving his reasons and that’s when Ankit said that she is a fake feminist.
He said feminism means equality, and one cannot be a true feminist by pulling other women down. He pointed out that she uses abusive language for Priyanka Chahar Chaudhary which shows what a hypocrite she is. The housemates were stunned by Ankit’s stand.
Well, the young actor did not just get appreciation in the house but has also wowed the audience. Though Nimrit was saved, Ankit fighting this game of fake feminism shows that he is not scared of stating what he feels is right or wrong.
Later during the day, Ankit along with Sajid Khan and other housemates was having a discussion over the word “alpha male”. He tells them that he feels “alpha male” is a negative word as it means that they are dominating towards their partner. However, he confessed that he believes in the word “alpha” which means to be a provider and a protector.
This statement has made his fans and audience, especially the girls, fall head over heels for him. They can’t stop gushing over the fact that in a world where everyone wants to be an alpha male, Ankit Gupta wants to be a provider and protector.
