Mumbai, Rajan Shahi’s “Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai” began its TV journey in 2009 with Akshara and Naitik as the face of the show, and now almost 15 years later, it’s their great grandkids leading it. The show, which is produced under Director’s Kut Production, is not just one of the longest running TV shows on the telly currently, but is an institution in itself.

From Akshara and Naitik’s old school kind of romance to the new-age romance of Naira-Kartik, Akshara-Abhimanyu and now Armaan-Abhira, their chemistry is captured in such a beautiful way that it will make your heart flutter.
3. Relationship values: No matter how advanced the characters become, or how educated they are, relationships are worshipped in this show. Even when two people have different opinions in the show, they will always have the highest regard for each other and give them the benefit of doubt.
4. Forgiving is the key to happiness: This show is all about forgiving the wrong. If the antagonist has done all the tricks up their sleeves to make someone’s life a hell, with time they are forgiven and nobody holds a grudge against them. Isn’t it what life is about, forgiving and forgetting?
5. Hail the captain: Rajan Shahi is the captain of this ship called “Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai”, and with his clear vision and determination, he has managed to lead it to the top always.
